Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Complete Haven handles personal information collected through this website, under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

Complete Haven is a short-let property management company working with landlords in Surrey, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

What we collect

We collect only what you type into our enquiry form: your full name, email address, phone number, property postcode or area, property type, number of bedrooms, your current monthly rent if you choose to share it, and any additional details you add. We also record the date and time of your submission.

We do not run analytics on this site and we do not set non-essential cookies. Only cookies strictly necessary for the site to function are used.

Why we collect it

We use your details to prepare and send your free income projection, to respond to your enquiry, and to follow up about short-let management of the property you told us about. We do not sell your information.

Lawful basis

Our lawful basis is legitimate interests, meaning responding to a business enquiry you have made, and, where we go on to work together, performance of a contract. Where we ever rely on consent, for example marketing messages, you can withdraw it at any time.

Retention

Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, unless we enter into a management agreement, in which case we keep records for as long as the relationship continues and for six years afterwards to meet legal and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner.

Who we share with

Your enquiry is stored in the secure database that powers this website, where Complete Haven retrieves it in order to respond. That involves our website hosting and database provider, acting as a processor on our instructions. We may also share information with professional advisers or where the law requires it.

Advertising and cookies

This site does not currently run advertising or tracking cookies. We may in future add the Meta Pixel to measure the performance of advertising on Facebook and Instagram and to show relevant ads. If we do, it will be introduced behind a cookie notice with your consent, and you will be able to decline non-essential cookies without losing access to the site.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where consent is our basis. Email us and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The version published on this page is the current one.
